Answer: We advise clients, structure and document deals in the Entertainment and Media Industry. With more than 30 years of experience, our attorneys bring a wealth of knowledge and advantage to your team, improving your bottom line. We provide a wide variety of business services for our clients. We are a multi purpose firm representing the music, film and television industry from giving advice and counsel, to documentation of deals, Memos of Understanding and Agreement, Artist Recording Agreements, 360° Deal Agreements, Management Agreements, Investor Agreements, Booking Agreements, Publishing Agreements, Business Formation, Partnership Agreements, negotiations, copyright registration and matters, trademark and service marks, entertainment and business litigation, setting up business structures with the state, local and federal government and all legal issues that generally arise in the entertainment and media business.

Question: Can you speak at our convention, conference or event?
Answer: We also serve as industry consultants and lecture at various conferences around the country. Just give us a call to discuss.

Question: What kinds of clients do you represent?
Answer: We represent individual and business clients. Our clients include, artists, record companies, independent labels, producers, media personalities, etc. music supervisors, music video and creative directors, recording studios, dancers, choreographers, concert event producers, actors, actresses, screen play writers, fashion models, celebrities, chefs, agents, small labels, medium labels, producers, authors, poets, directors, copyright managers and administrators.

Question: What are your fees for services?
Answer: Our fees vary, depending on the services that you need. We have fee structures that start as low as $150.00 to $300.00 for an initial conference with one of our attorneys. We can offer flat rates on some matters that require the drafting of a specific agreement, or we can set up a plan where you can post a retainer and make small monthly payments. See our section entitled “Fees” for more detailed information or contact our office to discuss your specific needs. We can develop a plan that will meet your budget.

Question: What if I only have a small matter, do I need to pay a large fee?
Answer: No, we can give you a flat rate on a legal matter that has a limited scope.

Question: I don't have any money, what should I do if I still need a lawyer?
Answer: We can discuss options that may be available where we can consider a providing services on a contingency basis. A small fee may be required to help cover expenses and start-up costs.

Question: I need a trademark?
Answer: We can help you with that!

Question: Does your firm represent independent labels?
Answer: In today's market, the independent label is often the way to go. Now is really an great time for independents!

Question: What if I want to start my own record label, can you help?

Answer: Yes, we have helped launch many independent labels. We can take you from the concept stage to setting up the business structure for your label, to putting the necessary agreements in place to full launch of the label and will continue to serve as general counsel for the label to handle day to day legal concerns.

Question: Can I make monthly payments?
Answer: We can set up a payment plan where you make monthly payments.

Question: Can I pay for my legal services with a credit card?
Answer: Yes, you can pay with a credit card via PayPal. We will forward you a link that describes the steps to make payment. More and more clients seem to enjoy this method of payment.
