Memphis, Tennessee USA. August 12, 2000— Reginald Eskridge and Janelle Eskridge, partners in the Eskridge & Eskridge Law Firm, continue with their seminar lecture series in beautiful and historic New Orleans, Louisiana, during the 33rd Annual Gospel Music Workshop of America 2000 Convention. This year’s theme is "A Call to Excellence". The week-long event will be held at the Ernest Morial Convention Center at the end of Canal Street in downtown New Orleans.

 

The conference, always well attended, will focus on all aspects of Gospel Music, with workshops singing, worship and praise. New Artist’s will have a forum to display their many talents. Eskridge and Eskridge will be on hand to conduct seminars and roundtable discussions for new and aspiring gospel artists who want to know more about the gospel music business, all with the goal of educating and enlightening those persons, young and old, interested in embarking on a career in gospel music or simply expanding their gospel music ministry.

 

Janelle Eskridge, whose areas of practice include entertainment law, business transactions and intellectual property, is a member of the American Bar Association and NAWBO. She is a graduate of Tulane School of Law and is a frequent writer and speaker on entertainment topics. She is also a member of the Gospel Music Association (GMA) as a voting member in the annual Dove Awards and is a member of the Gospel Music Workshop of America (GMWA). Reginald Eskridge, who focuses on entertainment law, intellectual property and litigation, is a member of the Entertainment Law Section of the American Bar Association and the National Bar Association. He is a graduate of Southern Law Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and is a frequent speaker on entertainment topics. Reginald is a member of the National Association of Recording Arts & Sciences (NARAS) and is a voting member for the Grammy Awards as well as a member of the Gospel Music Association (GMA) and a voting member for the Dove Awards. He has also served on the board of Music Industries of Memphis.
